San Antonio Throws One of Nation’s Largest New Year’s Bashes!
Free and fun for the entire family, San Antonio is estimating more than a quarter-million party-goers to attend Celebrate San Antonio on New Year’s Eve. This rockin’ event will close out 2008 with live music on four stages and a savory assortment of worldly cuisines. When the clock strikes midnight, the San Antonio sky will illuminate with a spectacular fireworks display launched from the 750-foot Tower of the Americas. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. between Market and Durango streets and throughout the historic arts village of La Villita.

Do you enjoy staying months on end in a cramped one room VOQ without any of the comforts or ammenities of home? Me either! I purchased, designed, and furnished The PIT Crash Pad with these thoughts in mind. Every room in the house was furnished with luzury and comfort being priority #1. A secure wireless network allows you to surf the internet from anywhere in the house along with a printer, fax, copier, and scanner on the network. The living area and bedrooms are complete with a 42" HD Flat Screen (32" or 26" in bedrooms) TV 's and HD Direct TV with all premium channels. A DVD library and DVD players are provided in each room as well. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would expect a kitchen to have and the washer/dryer is in a separate room adjacent to the kitchen area. The game room is still a work in progress, but coming soon is workout equipment to help relieve the stress of training and allowing you to stay in shape with your demanding schedule. Take a break from studying and relax in the living area while watching your favorite sporting event in High Definition TV. Bi-Weekly maid service will clean your fully furnished room, no need to bring towels, linens, or alarm clock...it is all provided. Unlimited long distance service in each bedroom. The "PCP" house is located less than 4 miles from Randolph's main gate and takes approx 5 minutes to get to base.
